1Eligibility & Student Account Registration

To register and use Drifttly, you must be an actively enrolled student, faculty member, or authorized affiliate of Bennett University (or partnered campus). You must register using your official university-issued email address.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Providing false identification or using another student's email address is strictly prohibited.

2Platform Role & Nature of Service

Drifttly is a technology platform that connects university students traveling along similar routes (e.g., Campus to Botanical Garden Metro, Pari Chowk, Delhi Airport, Nizamuddin Railway Station) to split rides and cab fares.

Drifttly does not own, operate, or dispatch vehicles. Students independently book their commercial cabs (such as Uber, Ola, BluSmart, or local taxis) and share the fare directly among themselves. Drifttly is not a party to any financial arrangement, cab booking contract, or in-person transport between co-passengers.

3Drifts Utility Credits, Purchases & Refunds

Drifts are in-app credits used to unlock connections with ride creators. Each ride connection consumes the specified number of Drifts (typically 1 Drift).

• Purchases & Payments: Top-up packs (Starter, Explorer, Voyager) are processed securely in Indian Rupees (INR) via our payment gateway partner, Cashfree Payments (supporting UPI, Debit/Credit Cards, and Net Banking).
• No Cash Value: Drifts are digital utility tokens. They cannot be redeemed for legal currency, refunded for cash, transferred to bank accounts, or sold to third parties.
• Refund Policy: Once Drifts are successfully credited to your wallet balance upon verified payment confirmation, all top-up purchases are non-refundable, except in the event of documented technical double-charging or billing errors.
• Ride Cancellation Protection: If a ride creator cancels an active ride or removes a connection, Drifttly's automated system restores your consumed Drift credit back to your in-app wallet balance.

4Safety, Conduct & “Girls Only” Pool Filter

Drifttly is built on community trust and peer accountability. You agree to treat all fellow students with respect, punctuality, and courtesy.

5Prohibited Activities & Account Suspension

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for abuse. You agree not to:

• Create spam, ghost rides, or frivolous travel listings.
• Use the platform for commercial taxi brokering, unauthorized livery services, or commercial touting.
• Harass, stalk, intimidate, or discriminate against any student on WhatsApp or in person.
• Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, inject automated bots, or overload the Drifttly API.
• Initiate fraudulent payment disputes or chargebacks on legitimate Drift pack purchases.

Drifttly reserves the right to immediately suspend or permanently ban any account found in violation of these terms without refund of remaining Drifts.

6Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer

Drifttly provides the service on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Drifttly, its student creators, and developers disclaim all warranties and liability for:

• Personal safety, conduct, delays, road accidents, or disputes occurring during physical cab travel or between passengers and taxi drivers.
• Delays, cancellations, or fare fluctuations by third-party commercial cab aggregators (Uber, Ola, BluSmart, Auto-rickshaws).
• Direct or indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform.

7Governing Law & Contact Information

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, India.
